A/an được dùng với nghĩa là một và vói các danh từ số ít đếm được
Ex : a book, an apple, a house, ect,
Chú ý : an được dùng trước với các danh từ bắt đầu bằng một trong năm nguyên âm ( u, e, a, o, i).
