a. Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period.	
b. Content: Active words and structures
c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures

1. Warm up: Quiz
- Divide class into groups. Ask them to look at the clothes people are wearing and take turn to decide where each person comes from.
T : Where does the women in picture a come from?
S1: She comes from Japan
T: How do you know she comes from japan?
S1: Because she is wearing a Kimono.
- The group who give the correct answer gets a point
2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’)
a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words
b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures
c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words

* Matching:

- Ask Ss to remember the phrases on page 14,15 in 30 seconds. than let their books closed
- Divide class into 4 groups
- Students from each group take turn to go to the board write as many words as possible
- Group with the most words win the game

- After Students have finished their task ask them to report the result of their survey in their group
