I.	OBJECTIVES:

IV. PROCEDURES: (STAGES):
1. Warm-up
* Aim: Have students look at the poster of things dealing with activites in free time (for 20 second) on page 59 and try to remember as many activities as possible.
* Content: Write on the BB, and read the words aloud.
* Products: Students write the name of activities. They’ve just seen from memory.
* Organization of implementation

- Teacher divides class into 2 teams and asks students to write the name of activities.

2. Pre-writing
* Aim: To prepare students to write a speech.
* Content: Complete the speech.
* Products: Students understand the meaning of speech.

- T ask Ss match each part column A to a suitable function in column B.

 3. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I’m professor Roberts and tonight I’m going to tell you how to save money.
 2. Most of us use too much gas. You can reduce this amount by:
- travelling by bicycle or public transport.
- having a mechanic check your motorcycle regulary.
 1. If you follow these simple rules, not only will you save money, but also the environment will be cleaner.

* Content: - Ss write the speech about three topic: Reduce garbage, reusing paper and saving energy in the kitchen.

- T divides class into 3 groups. Each group prepare a speech about one of three topics: Reduce garbage, reusing paper and saving energy in the kitchen. 
- Ss write on posters.

Example speech:
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Trung and today I’m going to tell you how to save energy in the kitchen.
Most of us often waste energy in the kitchen. You can save energy in the kitchen by taking some advice:
First, turn off the lights.
Second, prepare food carefully before turning on the stove.
Third, keep the refrigerator door closed.
If you follow these simple rules, you can reduce the amount of energy in the kitchen and save a lot of money.
4. Post-writing
* Aim: To consolidate what students have learnt in the lesson.
* Content: Understand how to write a speech.
* Products: Remember the lesson.
* Organization of implementation
