Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period. b. Content: Active words and structures c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures d. Organization: 1.Warm up : - T gives the topic - Ask Ss to discuss in two groups -For weak Ss can discuss in Viet namese 2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’) a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words d. Organization: 2. Pre writing -TM: Play game, practising, discussion group, technical present . -C: Co-operation, communication, -Q: Love family, friends and country * pre teach vocab: - Elicits and models . - Ask Ss to repeat chorally and individually . - Check R .O .R - Copy in note book . * Present one side of an argument - Stick or draw the table on the board - Tell Ss it is outline to present oneside of an argument. -Write the content of the out line on the strips of paper - ASK Ss to go to the board and stick the strips on the correct space - ASk Ss to answer some questions to check their understanding - ASk Ss to read the topic and outline A - Work in groups -Go to the board to stick the strips * Comprehension questions - ASk Ss to read the outline Band answer the questions What's the topic of argument? Why should secondary students wear casual clothes? 3. ACTIVITY 3: PRACTICE (20’) a. Aim: Helps students to speak and listen, understand the tasks and they can write b. Firstly, casual clothes make students feel comfortable. Secondly, wearing casual clothes gives students freedom choice. They have rights to choose sizes, colors and fashion that they love. Thirdly, casual clothes makes students feel self- confident when they are in their favorite clothes. Finally, casual clothes make school more colorful and lovely. In conclusion, secondary school students should wear casual clothes. Wearing casual clothes is convenient, comfortable and fun.
