Singapore is a small country in the South East Asia. It consists of 35 islands between Malaysia and Indonesia. They together comprise an area of 682.7 sq km. That is slightly more than 3.5 times the size of Washington DC. Singapore enjoys tropical climate: It’s hot and humid, and rainy most of the time. There are two distinct monsoon seasons – Northeastern monsoon from December to March and Southwestern monsoon from June to September. The common terrain is lowland. Singapore’s highest point is only 166 m. It has a coastline of 193 km.
