I. Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :

 - Practice speaking about preparations for a typhoon.

 - Talk about what they want to buy and do to prepare for a typhoon.

II. Knowledge:

1. Language knowledge:

1.1. Vocabulary: words relating to the lesson: bucket, latch, ladder, tie, canned food, damage.

1.2. Grammar: suggestions and deduction, prediction( review).

1.3. Pronunciation: the pronunciation of the new words.

 2. Skill: Listening/ speaking/ reading/ writing.

* Technique: Pair working/ group working/ individual working.

 3. Teaching method: Communicative approach.

 4. Competence: communication, self- study, coorperation,

 5. Teaching aids: projector, chalk, computer, book and blackboard, English 9-book.

III. Teaching procedures:

1. Class management: 30 seconds.

2. Warmer: 5 minutes
