I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge: 
- To help students talk about what people do and don’t do to protect the environment.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about what people do and don’t do to protect the environment. 
2. Competences:
Students can practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in
communicative situations to talk about animails and plants.
- Students form and develop competencies: the ability to autonomy and self-
study, the ability to communicate and cooperate, to solve problems and to
create.
- Students have a positive
attitude toward subject and learning English.
3. Qualities
- Students have serious learning attitude; love learning English, energetically
and actively participate in learning activities.
- Student's qualities are helped to develop such as: kindness, love for people,
love, respect and protect the environment, have a sense of self-training, take
responsibility for yourself, your family and social.

III. Procedure
1. Activity 1: Warm – up (8’)
a. Aims: Helping Ss revise the knowledge in the last period and lead Ss to new lesson.
b. Contents: Part C3- p165
c. Outcome: Students translate and understand the content of the passage.

2. Activity 2: Presentation (10’)
a. Aims: Help Ss know new words and the main ideas of the passage
b. Contents:Vocabulary, passage, text, 
c. Outcome: Students know how to read the new words individual, read the passage.

- Use pictures and some real things as chalk, pens, books, water to identify the meaning and usage of the quantifiers some, a few, a little, a lot of. 
 - Let students listen and repeat : some rice, a lot of rice, a little rice, some eggs, a lot of eggs, a few eggs
- Ask them to give the formation of “ a lot of ..”.
- Have them take note.
*Pre- reading: teach vocabulary
 - a buffalo ( Mine)

*Open prediction: 
- Set the sence: You are going to read a text about Mr Hai’s farming. Now work in pairs and guess about the text . 
- Ask them to predict 6 things Mr Hai has on his farm and 5 things he produces.
- Get students to read the text and check.
- Look at what the teacher show and notice the meaning as well as the usage of the quantifiers some, a few, a little, a lot of.
- Listen and repeat
