I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge:
- To help students talk about what people do and don’t do to protect the environment.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about what people do and don’t do to protect the environment.
2. Competences:
Students can practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in
communicative situations to talk about animails and plants.
- Students form and develop competencies: the ability to autonomy and self-
study, the ability to communicate and cooperate, to solve problems and to
create.
- Students have a positive
attitude toward subject and learning English.
3. Qualities
- Students have serious learning attitude; love learning English, energetically
and actively participate in learning activities.
- Student's qualities are helped to develop such as: kindness, love for people,
love, respect and protect the environment, have a sense of self-training, take
responsibility for yourself, your family and social.

Aims: Helping Ss revise the knowledge in the last period and lead Ss to new lesson. b. Contents: Part C3- p165 c. Outcome: Students translate and understand the content of the passage. d. Orgnization: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities -T asks ss to read the text and translate into Vietnamese. -Teacher leads in the lesson. -Ss read the text and translate in individual. - Students listen and enjoy the lesson. 2. Activity 2: Presentation (10’) a. Aims: Help Ss know new words and the main ideas of the passage b. Contents:Vocabulary, passage, text, c. Outcome: Students know how to read the new words individual, read the passage. d. Orgnization: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities - Use pictures and some real things as chalk, pens, books, water to identify the meaning and usage of the quantifiers some, a few, a little, a lot of. - Let students listen and repeat : some rice, a lot of rice, a little rice, some eggs, a lot of eggs, a few eggs - Ask them to give the formation of “ a lot of ..”. - Have them take note. *Pre- reading: teach vocabulary - a buffalo ( Mine) - a cow (visual) - to plow (translation) - to produce (translation) - to pull (trans) - a cart (visual) *Open prediction: - Set the sence: You are going to read a text about Mr Hai’s farming. Aims: Ss understand the text to answer the questions. b. Contents: Answer the questions + How much rice does Mr. Hai produce? +Does he produce any vegetables? +How much fruit does he produce? +How much milk do his cows produce? +How many eggs do his chickens produce? c. Outcome: Correct anwers: +He produces a lot of rice. +Yes, he does. +He produces a little fruit. +They produce a little milk. +They produce a lot of eggs. d.
