A. Objectives:

- Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to consolidate the Past Simple/ the Present Perfect/ the Present Progressive/ the Past Progressive, some other grammar items, do all the exercises using these grammar items and revise for the final exam.

- Attitudes:Ss are interested in revising grammar and doing exercises.

- Competencies:self-study,using language,creativeness,self-study,co-operation.

Ss can do all exercises well.

B. Teaching aids:

 Workbook, poster

C. Procedure:

1. Activity 1. Warm up (2’)

a. Aim: helps ss recall some tenses (simple present, simple past, simple future )

b. Content: game

c. Outcome: ss can make some sentences using some tenses

2. Activity 2. Presentation (20')
a. Aim: help ss review some tenses (simple present, simple past, simple future )
b. Content: questions, examples, forms
c. Outcome: ss can make some sentences using some tenses

1. Past progressive tense
- Ask Ss to retell the form and use
corrects and remarks and gives examples
Ex: I was practicing the guitar at 7 last night.
 I was watching TVat 8 last night
The door bell rang while I was having a bath.
2. Present progressive tense
- Ask Ss to retell the form and use
- Have Ss make sentences. 
Ex: Thanh and I are coming to San Francisco on Monday.
The boys are getting taller.
 Bao is always forgetting his homework. 
3. Present perfect tense	
- Ask Ss to retell the form and use
- Explain the use of adverbs

Form: S + was / were + V-ing
Use: indicate an action that was in progressive at a point of time in the past.
Past progressive + when + past simple
Past simple + while + past progressive
- retell the form and use
Form: S + be + V-ing

3.Activity 3: Practice (10’)
a. Aims: ss can do the exercises of tenses

c. Outcome: ss’s product (put the correct forms of verbs and comple the letter)

I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge: check students’ receptive level from Units 1-7
2.Skills: listening, reading and writing.
3.Behavior: Students will be active to do the test.
 - Educate students’ behaviour, independence, creativeness during the test.
 - Adjust lesson plan in advance to develop students’ ability and qualification
4.Competences: problem-solving competence, linguistic competence, self-study competence.
II. FORMAT OF A TEST
- The test consists of multiple choice and writing: listening (20%), reading (30%), writing (30%)
III. The test
- Teacher follows the test format of Thanh Ha district education office.
- The official test is inspected by the professional group

 2.Skills: listening, reading and writing
3. Attitude: To educate students to be interested in doing exercises
4.Competences: To develope sts’ problem-solving capability and ability to use language.
B. Teaching aids:
C. Procedures:
	- Teacher writes all the questions on the extra-boards.
	- The teacher corrects all the questions and gives the correct answers.
	- Explain some more about the language skills and grammar items in the test.
	- Ss give marks themshelves.
