Period: 65 REVISION I. Objectives - To help students remember some tenses they have studied. 1. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude: a. Warm up (5’) Teacher's and Ss' activities Content - Ask Ss say about present perfect ...: Structure ... - Give Ss to write some words * Structure: S + have/ has + O 2. Knowledge formation activities (36’) -Teacher has students remember the usage, the adverbs and the formation of the present perfect tense. -Students remember and state before the class. -Teacher checks and corrects. -Students copy down the usage, the adverbs and the formation of this tense. Then give some examples. -Teacher corrects if necessary. 4. Present perfect tense * Ss remember the way to use the Present perfect tense. *Usage: expressing an action that began in the past and continues to the present, or at an unspecified time in the past, or an action has just happened. *Adverbs: since, for, already, recently, just, ever, never, yet, . *Formation: -S + have / has + V-ed / V (past participle) + . -S + haven’t / hasn’t + V-ed / V (p.p) + . -Have / Has + S + V-ed / V (p.p) + ? Ex:-I have already seen that film. -Long hasn’t met Loan since 2005. -Have you visited HaLong Bay yet? -Teacher has students remember the usage, the adverbs and the formation of the present progressive tense. -Students remember and state before the class. -Teacher checks and corrects. -Students copy down the usage, the adverbs and the formation of this tense. Then give some examples. 5. The present progressive tense. * Ss remember the way to use The present progressive tense. * Usage: expressing an action that is happening at the present. * Adverbs: now, at the present, at the moment. * Formation: -S + is / am /are + V-ing . -S + is / am / are + not + V-ing . -Is / Am / Are + S + V-ing ? Ex: I am cooking dinner now. She is not listening to music now. Are you doing your homework at the present? -Teacher has students remember the usage, the adverbs and the formation of the past progressive tense. -Students remember and state before the class. -Teacher checks and corrects. -Students copy down the usage, the adverbs and the formation of this tense. Then give some examples. 6.The past progressive tense. * Ss remember the way to use The past progressive tense. * Usage: expressing an action that was happening at the point time in the past. * Adverb: at 5 o’clock yesterday, . * Formation: -S + was / were + V-ing . -S + was / were + not + V-ing . -Was / were + S + V-ing ? Ex : 3. Consolidation 4’ T emphasizes the structures again. 4. Using knowledge (option) 5. Further practice (option) IV. Experience: Period: 66 THE ORAL EXAMINATION I. Objectives: 1. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude: a. Knowledge: - To help students remember the knowledge which they studied and check their speaking skill. - Vocabulary: The words which they studied. - Grammar: The grammar which they studied. b. Skills: listening, focus on speaking. c. Attitude: Ss will be educated about the love their countryside, friends and know some clothing. 2. Capacity is formed and developed for students - Self-learning capability. II. Preparation 1. Teacher: lesson plan. 2. Students: pen, paper. III. Students’ activities 1. Warm up (5’) - Ss read and speak the topics which they prepared. 2. Knowledge formation activities (36’) Teacher’s and students’ activities Content - T calls each student to choose one topic. - Each student chooses one and has two minutes to prepare and speak. - T asks 4 questions. * Questions: Topic 1: The environment 1. Tell some reasons to make pollution environment. 2. What do you do to protect the environment? 3. Have you ever take part in collecting the garbage? If yes, where? Topic 2: Saving energy 1. How do you save energy? 2. How do you suggest someone to save water? Topic 3: Celebrations: 1. Tell some names of the celebrations. 2. When does the lunar New Year occur? 3. What do you prepare before the lunar New Year? Topic 4: Natural disasters: 1. Tell some names of the natural disasters. 2. What do you do before the typhoon? 3. Consolidation 3’ - T corrects Ss’ mistakes and asks them to prepare more. 4. Its operations 1’ - T gives some examples. 5. Further practice (option) IV.
