ACTIVITY 1 (WARM-UP) (5’)
a. Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period.	
b. Content: Active words and structures
c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures
d. Organization:
1. Warm up
- Show the picture with 8 activities and ask Ss 
what are the people doing in the pictures?

2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’)
a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words
b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures
c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words
d. Organization:

* Pre- teach vocab:
- Elicits and models .
-Ask Ss to repeat chorally and individually .

*Set the scene: We are going tolisten and read the text of Liz's trip to the countryside so think of the question: What did, Liz Ba and his family do on journey to his hometown?
- Read the text and ask Ss to look at the book
* T/F statements prediction:
- ASk Ss to read the statements on page 23 then read the text and decide which is true and which is false . 
- Give feedback and correct
3. ACTIVITY 3: PRACTICE (20’)
a. Aim: Helps students to speak and listen, understand the tasks 
b. Content: 	
- answer the questions in the questionaire.
c. Outcome: ss can do the task correctly
d. Organization:

* Ask Ss to read and check their prediction.

a. Aim: Stundents apply the knowledge they learnt in practice

- Draw a nine- square grid on the board
- Ask Ss to make questions about village.

b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures to speak
c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words
d. Organization:
-TM: Play game, practising, discussion group, technical present .

* Pre speaking:
- Give the poster with 6 questions and ask Ss to read the questions.
- Give the direction and ask a strong pair to play the role of A and B.
- Ask the whole class work in pairs. 
Note: Ask Ss to cover the role that they don't play.

- Ask Ss to guess which suitable place to fill In the map

- Get Ss to listen to the tape the first time to check their predictions
- ASk Ss to compare their answers with partner
- ASk Ss to listen to the tape the second time to make sure their answers
