Lead to the topic of the lesson: Today we’ll have an opportunity to organize a day trip to a place of interest Whole class Vocabulary Introduce some NWs I/ Vocabulary Team- building (n) the process of encouraging a group of people to work well together as a team by having them take part in activities and games: (Tinh than) dong doi Soccer, basketball, volleyball.. are team- building sports Tennis , swimming, cycling are individual sports Turn up = to arrive Set off = begin a journey ->You’ve some class/ school trip. What should we do to prepare for a class trip? Listen to T Whole class Listen Help Ss practice listening skill II/ Listening Set the scene: We are going to listen a conversation among Nick, Mi and Duong about a plan for a day out. +> What information are they talking about? Have Ss read the request in the Ex 1/ p 11 and underline Key words Have Ss listen and complete the table Elicit the answers from Ss and have Ss write on the board Have Ss listen to the CD again then check their answers Confirm the correct answers Green Park 6.team- building Bus 7.quizzes 8 a.m 8.painting village Own lunch 9.make Supermarket 10.5 a.m Listen to T Whole class Work individually Listen and check Discuss Let Ss know how to make a plan for a day out and how to make in groups III/ Planning a day out *Set the scene: - Have Ss make a plan for a day out with their classmates - Move around to observe and help SS Listen to T Work in groups Present Help Ss how to present in front of the crowd Have SS present their plans (Each group has 2 minutes) Have other group give feedback Have Ss vote for the best plan Listen to classmates and give feedback Consolidate Ask Ss about the content of the lesson: Listen to the conversation about a plan for a day out Make and present the plans of class/ school trips Give HW: Do A1, 2 and B2 (WB)- Prepare the project Whole class Write HW
