IV. PROCEDURES: (STAGES)

1. Warm-up
* Aim: -To activate students’ knowledge on the topic of the unit.
* Content: Write on the BB, and read the words aloud.
* Products: - Students write names the famous World heritages of some country in the world.
* Organization of implementation

- Teacher divides class into 2 teams and asks
students to answer some famous World heritages.
- Students answer.

2. Pre-listening
* Aim: To prepare students with vocabulary related to the topic weather.
* Content: learn some vocabularies related to the topic.
* Products: Students read and understand the meaning of vocab.
* Organization of implementation

- Teacher use different techniques to teach
vocab (pictures, situation,)
- Follow the seven steps of teaching vocabulary
- Repeat in chorus and individually

 3. While –listening
* Aims: To set the context for the introductory;
To introduce the topic of the unit, the vocabulary, the sounds, and the grammar points to be learnt.
* Content: Listen the conversation, answer some questions.
* Products: Students listen and understand the meaning of the text.
Students know how to role play
* Organization of implementation:

-Ask Ss to listen to the tape to complete the table	
 with the weather information about the big cities
 in
 the world. 
- The information includes weather characteristics
 and the details of temperature in the cities. 
 -Play the tape three times and ask Ss to work in 
pairs to discuss and compare the answer to their 
friends.
 -Write the answer on the BB. 
-Read the answer aloud. 
-Check if necessary.
Tell me some famous World heritages?
4. Post-listening
* Aim: To consolidate what students have learnt in the lesson.
* Content: Vocab about school things and Read and understand content of the conversation
* Products: Say aloud some words they remember from the lesson.

-Ask Ss to write the weather forecast about the big cities.
 -Compare to friends.
 -Read the weather forecast aloud.
 -Check if necessary.
+ Read the weather forecast aloud. + Hanoi today will be dry and windy, with a low of fifteen and a high of twenty two. 
+ Ho Chi Minh will be a dry day today, and warm. For the temperature, the low will be twenty, and the high will be twenty six degree.
5. Consolidation.
- Retell the main content of the lesson.
6. Homework
- Learn by heart all the new words.
- Do exercises in the workbook.
